What To Bring
Let’s face it packing for vacation is not fun, but it is a necessary step for any successful getaway. If you are looking for some advice about what to bring you’ve come to the right place! Cabins at Waters Edge has put together a convenient packing guide for your stay at our Hocking Hills cabins. Also before you start packing, make sure that you check the weather forecast for the week of your trip.
What Do I Need To Bring? Some possibilities….
- Food items
- Condiments (salt, pepper, oil, seasonings, etc)
- Charcoal, matches, lighter fluid
- Foil for the grill
- Paper towels and/or napkins
- Additional toilet tissue
- Beach towels
- Cell phones and chargers
- Flashlights
- Camera
- Sunscreen
- Your favorite pillow
- Ice
- Wood and/or starter logs for the outdoor fire pit and for cabins with wood burning fireplaces
- Toiletries (shampoos, soaps, toothbrushes, etc)

Preparing to Hike
The Hocking Hills Parks offers miles of scenic trails, caves, cliffs, and waterfalls. With everything from 1 mile hikes to 6 mile hikes, there is truly a trail for everyone. If you plan on hiking during your vacation, here are few items you may want to bring:
- Sunglasses
- Sunscreen
- Comfortable shoes or hiking boots

- High protein snacks like granola bars or trail mix
